ASTSUITE Edition 2

FASTSUITE Edition 2 is an independent 3D simulation platform for the digital factory. With a strong focus on robot and machine-tool applications, it provides scalable solutions for every layer of complexity, from single machines or robot cells to complete production lines. Material handling, manufacturing automation, process validation, virtual teach-in, offline programming, virtual commissioning and others are supported within a unified environment. Even though, manufacturing processes become more and more advanced, complex and challenging, the software guarantees simple use and full control. Its openness enables the easy and smart adaptation to specific technologies and customer processes. FASTSUITE Edition 2 fills the gap between product engineering and production. FASTSUITE for V5

FASTSUITE for V5 products are seamlessly integrated with CATIA/DELMIA V5. They enhance the simulation platform of DELMIA with innovative offline programming functions for point, curve and surface based niche technologies used with robots and machine-tools. Due to its unique process implementation kits, the solutions can be customized to perfectly comply with specific manufacturing technologies and customer environments.  The embedded process knowhow will help users to significantly increase offline programming productivity. The seamless PLM system integration of FASTSUITE for V5 provides a substantial added value for Aerospace and Automotive companies while the close link with CATIA is very attractive for many small job shops throughout the world.

 
FASTSUITE Edition 2 is a modular platform to support the different needs of the digital factory. All products and functions are seamlessly integrated in just one user interface and unified data model in order to provide an efficient workflow, and to avoid any data and information losses. Layout Builder

This product offers efficient and intuitive tools for the creation of production layouts, including immediate feasibility and reachability studies. It also supports all functions to directly teach and simulate robots, and to define material handling operations (pick&place etc.).

 

Resource Builder

This product easily builds new simulation resources from 3D CAD data, and adds them to the library. These resources can be defined as mechatronic components which not only have a geometrical representation with parameters and kinematics, but also have mechanical and electrical adapters. A light weight representation will be automatically created to ensure high simulation performance.

 

Offline Programming

This product is designed to program any kind of robots and machines very efficiently. A high-quality toolpath planning from 3D CAD data is fully embedded and requires no external CAM software. If available, fastener information can also be directly loaded from external sources. Specific technology apps ensure that the toolpaths are automatically optimized for the target applications.
